Amy Mackenzie

PhD, RN, CLCP, CCM

Amy Mackenzie is a Certified Life Care Planner with special expertise in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) cases.  Before becoming a life care planner, Dr. Mackenzie worked as a critical care nurse, and then became the Director of Nursing Services at Pinehurst Alzheimer Special Care Center. She was later the Director of Patient Services at the Azalea Sleep Center. Amy was an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Texas at Tyler for several years. Amy has years of experience writing life care plans for both plaintiff and defense clients. She is a facilitator for the East Texas Brain Injury Support Group, and a member of the Texas Nurses Association, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing.
