Brandi’s inspiration to pursue a career as a paralegal was deeply rooted in her childhood admiration for a friend's mother, a paralegal herself. This enthusiasm was further fueled by the iconic movie "Erin Brockovich," which highlighted the power of tenacity and determination in the legal field.

Her passion for the legal realm was officially ignited when she started her career as a runner for a family law practitioner. Over time, she worked her way up, becoming a receptionist at a general practice firm and eventually obtaining her certification as a paralegal. Her path eventually led her to the opportunity of working with the team of expert witnesses at MLCP, specializing in life care planning and vocational analysis. 

Navigating Uncharted Waters

Life care planning was a field that Brandi had not heard of until she attended a local continuing education event where Amy MacKenzie, the CEO and President of MLCP, spoke. Amy's passion and commitment reminded Brandi of Erin Brockovich, and this spurred Brandi to seriously consider the idea of merging her legal experience with MLCP.

Months later, a case manager position opened up at MLCP, and Brandi took the plunge. She applied for the position and successfully transitioned into her current role as Case Intake Specialist and Case Manager. This leap into the unknown was a testament to Brandi's willingness to embrace new challenges and explore uncharted territory within the legal field. Her journey from being inspired by Amy MacKenzie's words to becoming an integral part of the MLCP team is a remarkable testament to her drive and determination.
